1x8 of Flash and 3x8 of Arrow are really just one big episode. Other players include his mother Moira, sister Thea, ex-girlfriend Laurel, police Detective Lance and a host of others, including a lot of fun bad guys. Arrow' (Watch after Arrow 3x7) Reasoning: Is the title not reason enough :P But, Season 3 Episode 8 of Arrow is a direct continuation of this episode. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) returns home with a mysterious agenda and a lethal set of new skills that he uses in a war on crime in this hard-hitting action series.
Together they work in the dark to curtail evil. Genius computer whiz (and perennial cute girl) Felicity Smoak is on one hand of his good deeds and John Diggle, former soldier and bodyguard, is on his other. Back in Starling City, present day, he uses a list provided for him by his father to right the terrible wrongs his father did others by removing evil doers from the streets. Early on in his capture, had a difficult time believing what was happening to him. He also learned how to use an arrow to catch food and to protect himself. From barely being able to eat to survive, he met a man who taught him well. While "deserted" he was fighting for his life against strange foes on an otherwise deserted island. Things changed while he was gone, but nothing as much as himself. In Season 2, a veteran superhero arrives from Earth-2 to help the Flash take on Zoom, who has declared war on all the speedsters in the multiverse. After five years on a deserted (his words, not mine!) island, he returned the wayward hero to his hometown of Starling City.
Arrow Season 1 introduced us to Oliver Queen.
